About Us
Why does education look the same for every kid, when no two kids are the same?
Chris Linder didn't stumble into education reform. He was built for it. A decade in the classroom showed him what wasn't working. Years as a radio DJ taught him how culture actually connects with people. His work as an Agile project manager at Warner Media, across NBA, NCAA, and HBO Max projects, taught him how to turn big ideas into systems real people can use.
Remix Academics isn't just a passion project. It's what happens when a teacher, a storyteller, and a builder decide the system isn't going to fix itself. What started with Chris Linder's homeschooling guide, Homeschool Remix, grew into a full ecosystem: the REMIX Philosophy, the Mixtape360 learning OS, The Blueprint planning guide, and a growing community of parents who refuse to settle for "good enough." Tendi is the plain-English guide who helps families ask better questions, sort options, and choose the next practical step.
To equip Black and Brown families, and every family building outside the default, with practical tools that put parents back in the driver's seat. Homeschool. Supplement. Reimagine entirely. Family first.

Family first.

View Publications & Press →Black homeschooling surged from 3.3% to 16.1% since 2020. Families aren't waiting for schools to change. They're building something better, on their own terms.
Parents are choosing homeschooling for culturally relevant curriculum, flexible pacing for neurodivergent kids, and freedom from systems that consistently overlook their children's brilliance. Families are already building new learning paths. Remix Academics gives them tools, language, and support for the work.
Remix Academics is where that movement comes to build.
